WHAT IF LOVE'S THE ANSWER
(c) 8/93, Todd Silva
Did you ever ask a question, 'bout what you didn't know
Like, "what is this all for", you see, I'd like to know
It'd sure ease my mind, and bury all my fears
To understand it all, like, "where we go from here"
My eyes are opened wide, so why can't I see?
The truth of all the love, that's in front of me
If I could open up my heart, and let that love flow
Then it really wouldn't matter, what I didn't know
But if I knew all the answers, to what we're doing here
Then would the game be over, would there be no more tears
Would my curiosity fade, and take away the quest
To understand it all, and to leave no second guess
My eyes are opened wide, so why can't I see?
The truth of all the love, that's in front of me
If I could open up my heart, and let that love flow
Then it really wouldn't matter, what I didn't know
So, what if love's the answer, to all our troubles and our pain
I should have known it all along, that there'd be no other way
So, if you fill your life with love, the rest just falls in place
And you'll feel a warmth inside, and see a smile on every face
'Cause a wise man told me, while pointing to a star
That the answers to our questions are deep within our hearts
All you have to do, is let your love flow
And you'll find it doesn't matter, 'cause you already know
You already know...
